![]() ![]() There is definitely a bug somewhere but it's just a matter of time that the slack support/development figure it out. However, when I reported the same event on my work place 'slack help' group, lot of people responded with the same issue and also one of them mentioned that it was fixed by itself after sometime. Still need help Go to SharePoint Community. More information This issue occurs when the date, time, or time zone is incorrect on your computer. They asked me to follow lot of steps which involved uninstalling app and deleting existing slack folders and reinstall fresh. Solution To resolve this issue, correct the system time, system date, or time zone on the affected computer. I also talked with Slack support but they were unable to figure out why it's behaving it that way. (This should not be the case all the time we restart the PC or relaunch the app) To sign in it takes me to the browser and there I have to sign in using credentials and then it bring me back to slack app. When the Internet connection is lost the website connection can be terminated, resulting in a session expired message if you try to access any page after the Internet reconnects. Issue here is that at every instance of slack app start up, it asks me to sign in and does not automatically bring up the work space logged in screen, which was the case earlier. Unstable Internet connection or disconnects If your Internet connection is unstable, periodically disconnecting and reconnecting, it can cause a website session to expire. Once I am logged in to Slack, it's not signing me off by itself. ![]()
